daruma box
A Daruma Doll is a sacred Japanese object that symbolizes goal-setting and perseverance. It begins without eyes; one eye is drawn when a goal is set, and the second once the goal is achieved. The smaller doll inside is a real Daruma Doll tied to a dream of mine that came true, making it deeply meaningful to me. To honor it, I hand-carved and painted a box to house this sacred piece.
